Q: I ordered the Media Pack. Why do the DVDs contain fewer shapes than the total number listed on the website?
A:

The number of equipment shapes listed on our website is an approximate total of all the equipment shapes we have for each NetZoom library. However, a certain number of shapes represent legacy devices or equipment that is not in widespread use, which are not included on Media Pack DVDs.

Rest assured, we continually evaluate the equipment shapes and Visio stencils included on these DVDs and make sure they feature the latest, most relevant and most downloaded equipment shapes from each NetZoom library. Whether you load only the shapes you need or load the entire DVD onto your PC, you have the world’s most current and comprehensive set of equipment shapes and Visio stencils for your IT and AV network diagrams.

However, if you still need a shape that is not included on the DVD, your subscription gives you full access to your subscription’s library. You can download any of the NetZoom shapes in your subscription through the Customer Download Center

Q: Can I distribute network diagrams I have made with NetZoom to people who do not have a NetZoom subscription?
A:

Yes. However, users must have their own NetZoom subscription to use NetZoom shapes. In addition, NetZoom shapes cannot be extracted from diagrams, shared, copied, modified, distributed, or sold for commercial purposes. Please read the End-User License Agreement for more information.
